Dear friends:

 My name is Yuguo. I am 10 years old. I started this project just as everyone else. I wrote about the environmental changes in Beijing and what people are doing to improve the city. The more I wrote, the more I want to do something myself. So I have a good idea.

Last July, I built my own web site ---the Pupil Kingdom. This July is very important because the 2008 Olympic host city will be determined. So I’m  a new item to my web site. It’s called “Support the Olympic bid of  Beijing.”

There we can talk about why Beijing is the best choice for the Olympic bid. We can let people know that there have been a lot of changes in Beijing . As you can see, the  wind carries birds and kites not flying plastic bags of the past. The cannels are running with clean water once again.

Through my web site, I hope to introduce foreigners to the fantastic city of Beijing with its 3000-year history. Also I would like to point out to them that Beijing is now a modern cosmpolitan city, ready for the task at hand. In 2008, many of us will be around 17 years old. If  Beijing  succeeds ,all of us will have the chance to be Olympic volunteers. I sincerely hope the 2008 Olympic flame will be lit over Beijing.
